Know what takes far, far longer than I could have possibly expected? Professional label design.
I've been working since September with a local Novato designer to get beautiful, fancy labels for my new glass containers. This is my most recent progress as I work toward having my products in spas, salons, boutiques, wellness centers, and other retailers. It's exciting but, holy smokes, it is taking forever.
Here is a quick view at what my new labels will look like. I love the mysterious, sophisticated look of the charcoal gray that fades like fog down to the colored band at the bottom. My logo will be silver foil, evoking the moon. The colored bands at the bottom will symbolize the product inside -- mossy green for cleansers, deep garnet for facial products, and rose-quartz pink for body care.
I can't wait to see these wrapped snugly around my new, sleek frosted glass containers. Even better when I see them on shelves of local retailers! Stay tuned for more progress.
